About Us
Moonta is a warm, caring family congregation which endeavours to cater for all ages and needs.
Worship is a blend between contemporary and traditional.
The congregation offers:-
- Warm and lively worship
- A number of day bible study and fellowship groups
- Several specific prayer groups
- Focus on a net work of effective pastoral care and support.
- Conducts quarterly ecumenical RE Seminars at both the Moonta Kindergarten and Moonta Area school.
The congregation has extensive out reach ministry to the community, including:-
- Free Cuppa & Chat – weekly Thursday 10 am Contact Ros

- A Kid’s holiday outreach community programme
- Parkview Aged Care complex services and Holy Communion for those in Low Care and High care facilities.
- Food vouchers relief ministry for the needy.
- UnitingCare Christmas toys for children outreach
- Community Christmas food hampers for the needy
- Participation in the annual town Christmas Parade with a float etc
- Contact with “Shed Happens” attendees
The congregation also focuses on fellowship activities including:-
- Family camp and concerts
